Sword & Shield staff honored!
A local branch of a Department of Justice agency (to remain nameless) recently selected individuals for their outstanding contributions to our nation's security. Sword & Shield was specifically selected for their commitment to excellence. The lucky winners were brought up onstage at the Barry Manilow concert held at Thompson Bowling Arena. All of the participants were thrilled to be recognized, except one. The unknown person ran off stage shortly after this picture was taken.
In a related story, several stage hands have been reported missing from Thompson Bowling Arena. If you have any information regarding the missing person contact the Knoxville Police Department.

Redden and Ruth Ellen return from Namibia!
I just received a call from Dad (Redden to those few who do not know him) and he is back from Namibia. He and Ruth Ellen (my sister) had flown to Namibia to see my Niece Kimberly. They had a 22 hour flight back and are feeling the effects of jet lag. I have asked that Ruth Ellen send me some of the digital pictures they took in Namibia. So far this is the first pic of the set!
Apparently the people of Namibia were so impressed with Redden and Ruth Ellen that they were compelled to imortalize them both as statues! I think the likeness is astounding!
