Welcome to the family Blog!
Well, since I know the technology IQ of most of the family I will explain blogging.
Web Definition: Blog -- (weB LOG) - A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.
So, basically each of the family members that wishes (and a couple that may not!) a forum to post their news, events or whatever madness strikes them ( and that's the dangerous part!). I will set up and email each of you so that you can log-in and get started.
I especially hope that this will serve as a news forum for Kimberly. Since she does have Internet acess periodically she will only have to have access to a web browser to let us all know what is happening on her new continent.
You will be able to post images as well. The interface is pretty simple and I don't expect much difficulty. If the parents have trouble, just ask your kids!
